The way Contreras perfectly penned out Mia and Jensen's inner struggles and conflicting feelings versus actions was just super intense and gorgeous. Poetic, almost.

I waited a good three years for this book to come out ever since reading MLND. I wanted more of Tim's story and was not disappointed in the least, though a few things threw me in terms of storyline. But the good definitely outweighed the bad.

"His heart danced upon her movements like a cork upon a tide. He heard what her eyes said to him from beneath their cowl and knew that in some dim past, whether in life or revery, he had heard their tale before."

I don‘t think I‘ve finished reading anything this fast in months. The more I read of this book, the higher it made its way up my "favourite books" list.
