This was my 1st Sarah J. Maas book. And I loved it.
To me this is a love story and a story of friendship folded into a dark mystery filled with murder, betrayal, deceit and heartbreak. (Heartbreak for me as the reader and some of the characters as well, real tears were shed).
There is a major plot twist which I personally didn't see coming.
I am looking forward to the next installment in this series.

I read this book about a month ago. And it's just as fresh in my mind today as it was when I finished it.
The story of Lilith and her struggles as a slave on a sugar plantation. Pulls you in and doesn't let go. Life, love, loyalty, betrayal, with a little bit of spiritual assistance are all a apart of this journey.
We watch Lilith grow from a headstrung child to a dangerously headstrung adult and her choices could doom the whole plantation.

The Hate U Give | Angie Thomas
Pickpick

Rarely do I read a book that impacts me like this one did. I had to put it down for a day because I was feeling too much. From the beginning I was seriously in my feelings. I grieved, cried, laughed, but more importantly I understood the anger, the frustration, the confusion, The fear that it will never change.
This book showed all sides of this struggle. I love how Thomas was able to add love, joy, and humor amidst all the ugly, sadness, and pain.

This book was really good up until the halfway point.. I was so outdone with the ending. I couldn't believe that the book ended that way. 12 books.. I committed to 12 books only to have the very last one just end. I finished it last week and I still don't have the words to describe how the book ended. The only thing that comes to mind is the word .....flat....

I loved this book.. Actually the whole series...I can't wait to reread it.. And I recommend it to everyone as often as I can..
I haven't been able to bring myself to read the books by the new author though...
Maybe one day

I feel like I wasted so brain space and time on this book... I like the character Odd Thomas and I always want him to pull through so I forced my way through this book. But my goodness the majority of this book,in my opinion, was rambling... I was so happy to finally get around to figuring out the why's and how's and who's involved in the mystery.
Out of the series I've only liked the first book and I'm hoping rest of the series is better..

Chilbe It is! 3y

Rarely do I ever find a book where I don't like any of the characters in the book. Until now... I finished this book but it was a struggle... The story itself wasn't bad, but I found myself annoyed with all the wishy washy thoughts and overall selfishness..
I must say I also found myself frustrated by the lack of help Rachel received.. No one put her in rehab.. they just let her run around self destructing....

A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms | George R. R. Martin
Pickpick

This was my first read by George R R Martin and I loved this book. Dunc and Egg are very easy to get attached too. I would love to read more of their adventures. Guess I'll go ahead abd start working on the Game of Thrones books since I love the show.
