The Family Upstairs | Lisa Jewell

A strange cult-ish story that was so well written, it was believable. Excellent character development, too.

Better than I expected - adventurous thriller with some nice twists at the end - a bit far fetched with a few sub plots but intriguing enough to make you keep reading - a series so I‘ll see where the story goes in the next book.

Nice read - told from the perspective of several characters - couldn‘t figure out who “did it” so decent twist at the end

LoverOfLearning Oh I enjoyed this one! 5y

This is my least favorite book in the series. Unfortunately, I think I‘m done with this series as the books have not gotten any better. The first book was fantastic but they‘ve steadily declined.

Engaging initially, drug on through the middle, decent ending - 4th book in Dublin Murder series and I still think the first one was the best.

Decent read in the Dublin Murder Series - I enjoyed Mackey as the main character but much like her previous book in this series, the plot needs to move a bit quicker.

Likeness | Tana French

Not as good as the first one - dragged in the middle, however, her descriptive writing continues to be a her strength - started out strong but the story needed to progress a bit quicker to maintain the reader‘s interest
