I was worried this wouldn't live up to the hype but I really enjoyed it! I just wish we got more Helene, I would have loved if there were chapters from her POV.

Loved, loved, loved this. Was so exciting reading what my favourite characters are up to and meeting new ones. I feel like I've went back in time!

Is there anything more upsetting than binge reading an incredible book, then finding out the next book isn't out for months :(

Repetition was unnecessary. Lady Philippa Marbury's request was fairly burned into his memory. Nevertheless, she lifted one hand, pushed her spectacles back on her nose and took a deep breath. "I require ruination."

So, so good! I‘m so happy I decided to read this after my indifference towards Eon, everything about Eona was better. It took me days to read Eon, I read this in half a day. I couldn't put it down! The best fantasy book I've read in a while.
