Loving this book so much I don't want to put it down. Someone is not liking that.

The discovery Alexia makes about water and preternatural is pretty interesting. The absorption of aether and its role in these novels is great world building. I wish it for addressed more with Prudence.
This is one of my favorite books and my favorite heroines. A bad ass woman who is in charge. Her romance with Conall is so sweet and I adore that everyone else knows they are perfect together.
Therein stood the only creature who little Prudence had learned to fear and, of course, the one she loved best in all the world.
"Mama!".
One of my favorite novels. The burgeoning relationship between Alexia and Conall is amazing and I adore how everyone knows they should be together before they do. Our pragmatic heroine is one of the best and I want to be more like her.
Short, sweet and a good look into Alessandro Tarabotti. I'm glad Carriger didn't try to make him likeable but stayed true to his character.
No one said learning etiquette and espionage would be easy, my dear.
How does Gail Carrier always write such wonderful heroines?
