The parallels of Rin‘s world with my world have given me a lot to think about

Fun read overall! I‘d watched BBC‘s adaptation of Pillars of the Earth previously and really enjoyed it, which led me to pick up this book. It certainly felt like the Pillars series in terms of characters and plot, and I found the strategies and plot twists to be the strongest part of the novel!
