But I thought this choice was intellectually overwrought and that the provocative title, though potentially perfect for another memoir, didn't actually fit this narrative. (Plus, I'm offended on behalf of pre-modern women by the implication that they lacked ambition. 💪) Partly redeemed by the beautiful last section!
