I wasn't the biggest fan of Daughter of Smoke and Bone, even though I very much appreciated the beautiful characters and settings. Strange the Dreamer followed those same lines - I didn't have that click with it that made me feel all the feels, but enjoyed the well-rounded characters, Laini Taylor's way with words and beautiful world building. Would definitely recommend - especially to DoSaB fans!

I read This Savage Song last year and while I didn't love it as much as the Shades of Magic series, I very much enjoyed it and am looking forward to Our Dark Duet!
