At first I didn't really enjoy the book as much as I thought I would. I think I was just surprised about how antihero this was and plus I was in a reading slump so that didn't help. I really did like Adelina and all the Daggers.
I love the idea of having a Peter Pan retelling. I'm pleasantly surprised how much I enjoyed that book. That being said I felt like it was way too short for where she wanted it to go. I feel like Pete and Gwen were pushed together from the beginning and didn't really give any characters time to breathe.

I kinda spoiled the ending for myself but also I was confused about it but it still surprised me. My hear is breaking for Chaol and Dorian and Cealena but I cannot wait to read the rest of the series. Every time I had to put it down I wanted to pick it back up.
