Every now and then I just have to reread a book immediately after finishing it for the first time. This is one of those books. It just totally blew me away!

The synopsys fooled me quite a lot. There is so much going on and it has so much depth.
And actually the MC is really fucked up. The book should come with basically every trigger warning possible. Not sure what it says about me but that made it so special and great for me.

I'm sorry, but I decided to dnf this book. It makes me feel so uncomfortable!
I read a lot of m/m romance that start with ONS and one of my favorite series is about hooker/customer romance.
But the way Logan just wants to sleep with basically everyone and pushes for sex with Tate makes me feel icky. I guess it does click at some point between them later on but I just can't make it that far...

monalyisha Can‘t say I‘ve read it but yes - definitely bail if something‘s not working for you! Onto the next…📚 2w
chasjjlee @jinxmoon Understandable ♥️. This was my very 1st ever MM romance so I guess that's why it holds a place in my heart. And I totally agree with @monalyisha if it's not making you have all the feels then definitely DNF it. I'm loving all your feedback on these books, btw 😊. 2w

What a weird and creepy book... That's exactly what intrigued me the most about it. It was so weirs to read in the POV of the stalker who thinks he's a good person...
But I think the book dragged quite a bit in the middle. I understand why the author took her time and didn't evolve it faster, still it bored me a bit.
I listened to the audiobook and the narrator did a fantastic job, so still a pick for me!

monalyisha Nice! Think you‘ll watch the show? 2w

monalyisha @jinxmoon I haven‘t! It‘s not my chosen genre, so I don‘t think I‘ll watch it. But I think I heard that parts of the book were set nearby (in Rhode Island). So, that‘s interesting if it‘s true! 2w

I'm using #roll100 to finally read through my collection of Buffy books. I basically bought them all at once in 2019 and planed to read one a month but never actually did that.
One roll landed on the first of the Gatekeeper Trilogy, so I want to take the chance and read all three books.

This was one of my most anticipated books and it really blew me away! Everything worked so well!
The magic was great and I loved the relationship between the MCs. And even though I'm often bored by mysteries I really enjoyed it here, was hooked and wanted to know more.

One of the last books for this year and it is definitely quite high on the favorites list.

I usually reread some favorites at the end of the year.
Well this year I decided to clear my tbr a little. There are so many series I own completely but never read more that the first one or two books, so I decided to finish those and start the new year without "the pressure" to finish series.
.... uh, I guess no one will see me from now til January as there are more books than I thought would be...

I don't know shit about banking and investment. So I basically didn't understand half the book.
But I really enjoyed what I understood! There is so much scheming and plotting going on, the world of finance is quite scary.
I really like how well researched the authors books are and how real they feel.

What an emotional and very important book! I hope it helps many people who might need help!
It centers around two teens that struggle with depression. It has four storylines of how their and their close ones live would've been if, after they went to a bridge to end their lives: One or the other jumped, both jumped and no one jumped but they helped each other.

Holy shit... I so not expected all the things that happened in this book... I'm not even sure if I can comprehend everything that happened.
There was so much mystery and heat and delicious darkness in the book that made my heart race constantly.
I cursed myself so much after reading the first book that I had to wait for the sequel... It's even worse now to wait for the third book...

KristiAhlers I loved this series so much! I can‘t wait for the next in the series. 2mo

I'm in love with this series!
The story and the characters hooked me so much and I still can't stop thinking about them.

It starts with Grey getting kidnapped from a human traffic ring and how Darius gets him out. I really liked that the sequels deal a lot with the aftermath of coping and then the dismantling of the ring.
Let's be honest, it's in no way realistic but it gave me nice feelings and 5 books with them so who cares about realism.

Anyone ever realized how disturbing nursery rhymes are?!

(Okay I admit… they are more creepy in this context of a possible psychopath singing… but still!)

I just finished Season One of the Criminal Intentions series by Cole McCade.
I might‘ve read all 13 books in six days… They‘re just too good!!!

Riveted_Reader_Melissa That ones particularly dark because it‘s really about the plague (Black Death), here‘s a bit of the meaning behind the words. https://medium.com/weird-history/ring-around-the-rosie-a-song-for-the-plague-464... 5mo

OMG
The book series I‘m currently obsessing over just had a cameo of the main character of a book I‘m in love with since reading it first in May! I squeeled so loud that I startled my hamster 😅
I just love when authors do that!

(also that means I have to reread ‘Just like that‘ again very soon. It‘s not like I‘m invested in series that has 28 books out right now…)

I‘m obsessed with this series!
Every book is like an episode of a TV series and I really can‘t get enough!
I usually don‘t read crime but I liked other books from the author.
The books are quite graphic and gruesome and come with a lot of content warnings at the beginning but at the same time they are so beautifully written that my heart sometimes aches.

The only place I don‘t take a book with
(though I do have some on my phone…)

For the first time in 2.5 years I‘ve been around hundreds of people. It felt strange and I was constantly trying to keel distance from people.
But on the other hand it felt so good to do something and to see people.

Unfortunately my team lost but that‘s a whole different story…….

After reading two books based on Peter Pan I realized how disturbing the original actually is… How come that so many children stories are actually quite creepy and you only just realize it as an adult…?

Highly recommend both books btw!
Lost Boy is rather a prequel and has Captain Hook as one of Peter‘s boys.
The Child Thief is mixed with more folk legends and much more loosely based.
