Over all, it's a decent book. I liked it enough to want to give book 2 a shot. I personally felt the ending was rushed, it didn't tie up any loose ends. Callie turned into a damsel of distress trope for me and I was not a huge fan of that. Maybe the second book answers the questions I have, but I guess I'll see when I read it. Over all- a good read if you're looking to not think, but definitely not a read if you like to over analyze books.

I'm a sucker for older books. I love the smell of the pages and how worn the book seems after many fingers have flipped through. I got this book from my college library's clean out sale. As a psych major, I'm fascinated in all things relating to the field. I'm curious to see what a 1998 self help book is going to say about mental illness. More to come.

1) I'm CURRENTLY living in Maryland, USA, but have moved around all my life in an Air Force family.
2) A lot of bookstagrams I followed on IG found this app, I looked at it and loved it immediately.
3) Hmmm the only book to movie I DIDN'T hate was Divergent.
4) I don't have a turtle but I have three cats and a dog!
