Pickpick

217 p. I got this precious in our local library by a lucky accident. Tagged book does not match. The one in my pic is called "And I Sign on This" and was released in 1935. It is one of the last copies. In Lithuania, only 3 libraries have it! . The author is from my native town, a charming personality and created several short, witty novels about daily lives in times between the wars.

I also love and adore my F. Scott Fitzgerald collection. About 105 books so far. Lots of first editions. These make me happy. Sorry the picture isn‘t more clear. #fitzgerald #fscottfitzgerald #classics #oldbooks

I thiiinnnk this is my oldest book I own. It says the copyright is 1930 but guys this book is in amazing condition! Very loved and respected by previous owners! Also I LOVE finding writing in old books. Makes the past owners come through the pages just as much as the stories do❤️ #fridayfunwith451 #allquietonthewesternfront #oldbooks #usedbooks

Kept my hands in my pockets while in the Rare Book Room at Powell's. Mostly. $1800 for these beauties.

Went to an open day at the local archives today. Such beautiful lettering in this record from the 1600s. (Now for a cup of tea before I start my reading for the day).
