This series is so good. This is one that I remember reading back in school. It‘s sad as when I was moving my books ended up getting damaged. I have ended up purchasing them in kindle now as it is just so good.
Love the old school adventure style and how more of the characters are revealed as you go.
Highly recommend this book.

Such a good book that @thegirlwiththelibrarybag recommended when I was away back in 2016 and was one of the things that kept us close was discussing books. Loved going to all the book shops with you. 📚

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I loved the first one but you can probably guess where I‘m going with this (I haven‘t finished the series) 13mo
kathy88 @thegirlwiththelibrarybag Hahaha. How has this become our trait. We start really good series and then . . . We stop. 13mo

I really loved this author but have this horrible habit of starting her books and forgetting to finish the series. I have loved and re-read the books to try and finish this but still have yet to complete this.

I love Tamara Pierce and this book was no exception. The only annoying thing is how long between this book and the next book there was.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag Not out til August 2024 and I have a horrible feeling it‘s not a duology 13mo

Such a good series. I found this when doing TAFE when I had weekly dinner with @thegirlwiththelibrarybag man I miss those days.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag I remember you being mad at the ending 😂 but an iconic series for sure! Our TAFE dinner days were great… we saw so many random movies! (edited) 13mo
kathy88 @thegirlwiththelibrarybag oh yeah I so was mad at the ending. But so fun just randomly picking movies to go see for cheap Tuesday (edited) 13mo
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @kathy88, I miss the days of having seen pretty much everything out 🎥 13mo

This author is so good. I have spent so long looking for the books and still haven‘t got them all. Just been unpacking my books (Woops have been in boxes for over a year) and found all these. Always exciting when you find books you haven‘t seen in a while.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag She‘s still writing them too! Glad to see the book boxes are being unpacked! 13mo

This is a book that I go back to. It was one I found in high school but such a good story that I just have to keep the-reading when in a book slump.

thegirlwiththelibrarybag Did we ever read the sequel 13mo
kathy88 I don‘t think we ever did. I know we were looking for it. 13mo
thegirlwiththelibrarybag @kathy88, I‘m pretty sure I have it on kindle 😜 13mo

This book is amazing. It is the first book in the Artemis University series that currently isn‘t completed but man it is sooo good.

Space travel, terracotta warriors and worming skills. Maria v Snyder doesn't disappoint with the first book in her new series.

I love this series. This is the final book in the old kingdom trilogy. It has a rollercoaster of emotion. It keeps growing the characters and the world it is in without taking away from the story. If you haven't read the series you need to.

What did the Seven do way back when?
Why, they wove the Charter then
Five for the warp from beginning to end
Two for the woof to make and mend
That's the Seven, but what of the Nine
Why of the two who chose not to shine?
The Eighth did hide, hide all away
But the Seven caught him and made him pay
The Ninth was strong and fought with might
But lone Orannis was put out of light
Broken in Two and buried under hill
For ever to lie there wishing us ill

Five great charters knit the land
Together linked hand in hand
One in the people who wear the crown
Two in the folk who keep the dead down
Three and five became stone and mortar
Four sees all in frozen water.
