November 30, 2023 So sorry to report that something had me gone for a month or so here on Litsy. Idk what happened to my account BUT i managed to email them and get it fixed... EVERYTHING IS A-OK! Anyway I finished this book last week and I thought it was a good book. I would recommend it to anyone who likes Temple Grandin or just wants to read the difference between a visual thinker & object thinker 😊

October 12, 2023 About to start Chapter Nine of this book. I feel like when I read books written by people of color, it is more relatable. People of color have different stories to tell ( personal, historical, or biographical ) and I am HERE FOR IT! Being able to find a book that I can personally relate to ( sort of ) is very freeing. I think to myself, "Wow, this is something that I will remember and always cherish."

October 8, 2023 Happy Fall and Happy Octoburrr!!! Ik that I have yet to update my Litsy but I have been busy haha Anyway, I am on page 249 out of 324. This is when Clementine gets told by Earl that she had something in her mailbox. She was estatic but also shocked. What could it be? It was a letter that Vera sent Clementine's aunt, Analea. She and Analea had dated thirty years ago. She must think that Analea is still around or something...

September 15, 2023 I am loving this book. I like how the author goes back and forth between past and present but doesnt make it confusing. Some authors tend to write in a confusing way and I get lost because the writing is all over the place... Too hard to follow and leads to me taking an even longer time finishing... which I dont like doing! So authors, please write and entertaining book. Thank you

September 10, 2023 This book is very FALL. The colors remind me of Fall therefore I am reading it. The book focuses on three characters: Clementine's aunt, Clementine, and a mysterious handsome man with a Southern accent and drawl, Iwan. Clementine was told by her aunt who passed away that the apartment has secrets. Her aunt met Vera; now she meets Iwan. Could this be true love? Could this be a coincidence? Idk but I am hooked

September 9, 2023 Woohoo Hooray Hoorah I finished the book. I was so WANTING and DESPERATE to finish the book... cuz it took me awhile to finish. I would say that the theme of book is: Things take time to get over. Sharing emotions with someone you love; especially if you are afraid of getting hurt. Overall, the ending was good. Cleo is pregnant. Wyn and Harriet get married and Harriet is in her "Happy Place"

September 3, 2023 I am on page 235 out of 385. That means that I am MORE than halfway through the book. The relationship that Harriet and Wyn have is off and on. I think that is the only way to say it. Let's find out if they eventually stay together...

August 22, 2023 New book! Started today and fall-ing in love with it a little too fast. (Get it?) The thing about Emily Henry is that she does not keep you on your toes. I feel like she gets to the point and keeps the story going without making you guess what will happen next. Right off the bat, she explains how Sabrina & Parth, Cleo and Kimmy, and her and Wyn Connor are all friends. However, Sabrina & Parth surprise Harriet with Wyn, her fiańce.

August 21, 2023 I had this book as a tbr. I finished the book but did not feel that it was that good. I had higher expectations bc Taylor Jenkins Reid's previous books were SUPERB. I was a bit bored and it took a while for me to reach the good part of the book. 3/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️

August 21, 2023 I am on page 296... omg I only have like very little pages left to read. sigh I mean just by reading the title of the book, Taylor Jenkins Reid gives the outcome of book right away. There is no need to really read the book tbh. A quote that I liked was, "Carrie Soto is human. But she's superhuman" (page 296)

August 20, 2023 Last time I had updated was on August 6. I thought it was time for a new update. I am on page 216 out of 364 - more than halfway and I am not feeling like I reached the climax. The author is basically talking about her playing tennis and practicing tennis.

August 6, 2023 Not sure when the last time I posted something was but here is another post! I am on page 117 and I am enjoying the book so far. There is a lot of tennis lingo but the whole book revolves around tennis and tennis players and tennis moves... not surprised. Just wish I could reach the climax of the book a little faster bc the part I am on is a bit slow

July 26, 2023 Wow I was shocked at the ending!!! I thought one thing but something else happened. I thought that Kristen was going to stay alive and Aaron would get killed by Aaron but instead Aaron kills Kristen with his car bc he knew that Emily didn't want Kristen around based on her weird behavior. Truthfully, I did not want Kristen around either based on how she was acting towards Emily. Glad that Emily and Aaron are alive. 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

July 18, 2023 Already began reading this book and have reached page 120. The main characters that are talked about are Kristen and Emily. Aaron is Emily's bf and she is trying to figure out of he is the one. Kristen is a good friend of hers BUT asks her to help AGAIN. From then on, she begins having flashbacks and horrific reminders of when they buried Paolo in Chile. The first time was in Cambodia.

Reckless Girls: A Novel | Rachel Hawkins

July 13, 2023 On page 223 out of 309 and I have reached the climax of the book. This book definitely has some "reckless girls" in it. Brittany and Amma are good friends, Jake and Eliza are a couple, and Nico and Lux are a couple. However, things get weird when Amma hooks up and sleeps with Nico because her bf died in a car accident and Nico reminds her of her ex. Sadly, Lux does not have anyone to go to now. She also knows about J & E: secrets

July 8, 2023 Omg I am on page 313 out of 441 and another quote spoke to me. The quote says: You don't "have" to, you "get" to. In simple terms, when one starts considering things not as obligations but opportunities, one starts taking advantage of them rather than trying to avoid them. An example would be getting up early. You don't have to wake up early, you get to wake up early etc

June 26, 2023 FINISHED THIS BOOK FINALLY! It took me some time to finish it but I sort of knew what was going to take place at the end so it was no surprise. Hint: It ends on a good note. June 14, 2023 Psst... I am a little more than halfway through the book and I stopped at a steamy part between Fern and Will Baxter. Fern and Will met ten years ago but come across each other again ten years later and Fern had always wondered why he never returned sooner. The book goes back and forth from past to present. Imo, the book kind of starts out slow. I still feel like it is on the slow side however okay if you want to get out of a slump!

Some of the characters that appear in the book are: Fern, her mom (who passed away in a car accident), Jamie (Fern's ex), Will Baxter (a guy that Fern liked ten years ago at the age of 22 and happens to meet again ten years later), and Whitney (her best friend). May 13, 2023 Another memoir for ya! This book is exactly like Publishers Weekly stated, "This real-life hero's journey is a knockout". TRUE Simu Liu really goes in detail about his parents, their life with him, and then his life with them. He discusses the hurdles he had to go through through various stages of his life and how he felt as an Asian American. Well done Simu
