This book was recommended to me by a friend from dance. The book follows Jasper 'Jazz' Dent, the son of infamous serial killer Billy Dent. When Billy is thrown into a high security prison, Jazz is left to deal with the trauma of his father raising Jazz to be just like Billy-- a serial killer. When a body appears near Lobo's Nod, Jazz teams up with the police to prove that he's not like his father

Conflict: Because of the fact that Jazz was taught by Billy to view other people as insignificant and disposable, he internally struggles with the part of him that wants to kill others, solely because of how he was brought up into the world. Throughout the book, there were many implications of the fact that Jazz might turn like his dad (edited) 5y
