What makes people in a relationship infidel?
Being someone married for over a year now, I have often wondered this. There are days when I can't stand my partner, and then there are days I swoon with bouts of happy feelings. I wonder what it means to be in love.
(Continued in the comments)......

meenareads (1) I wonder if love is eternal, as romanticized in movies. I wonder if two people going through similar things in life form bonds triggering them to cross lines. When the person doesn't have the bones to tell their partner to the face and keep living a double life, I often wonder why. 2y
meenareads (2) Carrie Allsop finds her husband is cheating on her when she finds correspondence from his mistress. She doesn't confront him. Instead, she writes a letter to the spouse of her husband's mistress, David, seeking if he knew about this happening.

meenareads (3) There is so much empathy between the two, as they become friends when they start exchanging correspondence, spying on their spouses, and sharing tidbits from their lives. There is spice disguised as a little twist in the end and it caught me totally off-guard. 2y
meenareads (4) With just over 90 pages, this epistollary novella was a one-sitting read. This is a kindle exclusive story and available for free in kindle unlimited. My first TJR, and I am intrigued to read more. 2y

“We are stardust brought to life, then empowered by the universe to figure itself out—and we have only just begun.”

(1)“During our brief stay on planet Earth, we owe ourselves and our descendants the opportunity to explore - in part because it's fun to do. But there's a far nobler reason.

In that bleak world, arms-bearing, resource-hungry people and nations would be prone to act on their 'low contracted prejudices.' 2y
meenareads (3) And that would be the last gasp of human enlightenment - until the rise of a visionary new culture that could once again embrace, rather than fear, the cosmic perspective.”

With NASA releasing the images from James Webb Telescope, I fancied writing my thoughts on this as I started to ponder about my place in the universe and oomph, which this book alludes.

meenareads (4) To me, professional supremacy is when one can enunciate the intricacies to a rookie. Neil DeGrasse Tyson, the renowned astrophysicist and Raj's nemesis in The Big Bang Theory, has done it in his book, Astrophysics For People in a Hurry. It was a while ago I listened to this, but the thoughts are afresh in my mind.

meenareads (5) Narrated by the author, it was soothing as he reveals the sublime and the most exciting ideas in astrophysics. He weaves a story of the past, present, and future of the universe, with generous amounts of spirituality, humanity, and a cosmic perspective.

meenareads (6) I am humbled, as I do not live simply in this universe, the universe lives within me.
I am grounded as I understood the universe doesn't have to make sense to me.
The whys, whats, and hows this gave me will take me on an un-ending journey to seek answers I know I will never find
