pickGreat book for teens! It focuses on football and the hazing that can occur when it comes to playing a team sport. I love how the story is told through different formats- texts, newspaper clippings, interviews, online forums, and dialogue. This makes for a quick read. I would recommend to middle schoolers as well as high schoolers.
pickIf you like Rick Riordan' s books, you will like this too. In fact this book is part of the Rick Riordan Presents campaign. The main character is Zane Obispo who learns his heritage as well as his destiny in the first book of this series. JC Cervantes explores Mayan gods and myths as she creates an adventure that won't disappoint fans of mythology. Book 2 comes out in the fall of 2019.
pickAmazing! If you like mystery/ thrillers where you can't solve it yourself, this book is for you. Great characters with deep secrets along with a touch of romance. My middle schoolers will devour this!
