I am having an emotional meltdown over this. The depiction of domestic violence so closely mirrors my own experiences. The details differ greatly from the HBO series, so they can just be enjoyed as two complementary stories. Anyone who's ever read a book can tell how the "twist" is going to turn out, and still... I read the whole thing in three hours. Couldn't stop myself.
