Just finished reading ‘We Take This Man‘

‘What‘s His Is Mine‘ was a very good book by Philadelphia author, Daaimah S. Poole. Not only is she a great writer, but she writes in a way that makes her work quite relatable. I am a long time reader of Daaimah S. Poole.

I truly enjoyed ‘The Weekenders‘ by Mary Kay Andrews. Reminiscent of the southern themed romance novels I used to read as a pre-teen, ‘Weekenders‘ was the first book by Mary Kay Andrews that I have read. I finished the audio book version in a little more than a week. I would truly recommend this book as a beach read or even as a quick escape to life in the small town South. Great read.
