Found this sweet $1 baby from the 40's at a flea market and will be enjoying her this evening along with a nice bath. One more precious baby to add to my antique and aged book collection. 💎

I was so in love with this book from the beginning. The dialogue is entertaining and I appreciated the character development. Many times I expected different characters to be the villan but the book didn't end at all how I thought it would.
Cute and relatable. I am definitely looking forward to picking up more of Polly Shulman's books!

Absolutely loved this book. I tore through it in just a few hours. Imagine this as a movie!! Such great writing and description. A serious recommendation.
