I love any book that emphasizes the importance and intelligence of children. This was just so magical :)

I can't say enough good things about this book/series. Just one of my favorites ever, ever, ever. The world building is so good that I basically just want to re-read these on a loop until the third book comes out.

This book was SO ADORABLE. I loved all the characters (who were actually pretty diverse, which was great!) and the mystery surrounding the plot. One of those books that I wish I could wipe my memory of and read for the first time again.

I thought this book was GREAT. The subject matter and reality of life in North Korea is devastating but the journalism and writing in this book is fantastic and very accessible. I learned so much from this. DEF WOULD RECOMMEND.
