Fascinating recount of a life that is really foreign to me and a world from which I knew nothing. It helps you to put yourself in someone else‘s shoes and to question your judgments about other people‘s decisions.. what a sad ending to this story, though.

Audiobook. It was a fun company and touched issues like self image, which hit home. I thought it was going to be a complete waste of time but I really liked it. Light, but also deep in many levels, funny and warm.

I hated this book but I know and understand it‘s not a book to be loved but one to make you think and open your eyes. Read it during 2019 spring break. Audiobook 18 hours+.

I loved this book and cannot understand how people found it boring. To me, it was as enjoying a glass of wine on a calm evening. Enjoyable, unhurried, smart.
