This is so funny and had me question my own internalized racism which is exactly why I picked up this book. Also it‘s pink. What more could you ask for? 20/10

Roxanne Gay is probably one of my favorite writers of modern literature.

Biography on the one and only Janis Joplin. The ending was a little harsh but so was the life Janis lead. Fun fact: Myra Friedman passed away exactly 30 years to the day Janis did. Life is weird like that man.
