THE TWENTIETH WIFE | Indu Sundaresan
Mehso-so

The characters lacked depth, the plots described could have been more consistent, and to top it all,too many unnecessary adjectives for a scene.

The only good thing about the book was the growth of Mehrunnisa from an innocent kid who desired to marry the Prince, a young adolescent feeling passionate about him, a married woman who remained faithful to her soldier husband, and finally to a new bride who was strong, yet subtle in her decisions.

Love in the Time of Cholera | Gabriel Garc-A Mrquez
Pickpick

Márquez has described the vulnerabilities of the characters that has brought out their darker colours within them. This book isn't just about love - it's about all those emotions that make us human; love, obsession, anger, jealousy, temptation, etc. Setting aside our personal values, this book is a journey in exploring various emotions and the depth they carry along.
