A follow up to THT that was even more thrilling and horrifying than I could have dreamed.

Nute Maybe I should give this a go. I‘m so fond of The Handmaid‘s Tale, as are many readers. I‘m concerned that this book, written so many years later, will somehow negatively impact the reading experience of its predecessor. 4y

the_wastrel @Nute I had the same fear, but this book expanded so much on the history of how Gilead came to be, the training of the Aunts, and the international/foreign perspectives towards Gilead. It was fucking mind blowing. 4y
