This is a good story but SO MUCH like The Nightingale (which I just read), I'm having a hard time getting into it. Deciding whether to power through or set it aside for another time.

Trying to be a reader like this...
so-soKept me hooked all the way through (of course--it's Kate Morton!), but was so dark and sad. The answers made me even more depressed than the mystery!
