I always enjoy a good medical mystery, and Robin Cook is the best. A serial killer is is helping patients drop like flies. Laurie is (the one doing the autopsies on the remains) trying to get the hospital to understand that it is for real, but nobody believes her other than her long time work mate as well as her lover.
