Finished this yesterday! It was a great read after watching Avengers: Endgame! This was the first graphic novel I read about Captain Marvel. She is a fun, intriguing character! I love reading #marvel graphic novels and comics!

After seeing Captain Marvel at the cinemas a month ago, I was keen to get back into reading stories about her! I never read this run of Captain Marvel. I found the story predictable & a bit boring, unfortunately. What I did like about it was the way Captain Marvel found her feet as a leader on a ship, & not at the front, fighting! The relationship development between Marvel & Abigail was great & I loved the banter between the two.

Hello! Not really book related, but this has contributed to my lack of reading lately. I was so tired the weeks after completing this walk! On top of that, many of the books I‘m currently reading are just not doing it for me. 😕

Seeing the new images from Captain Marvel on EW may have influenced my comics reading this week 😅

A hodgepodge kinda meal today. Leftover mashed potatoes, leftover fried rice and bokchoy. Oven-roasted soy-sesame chicken. Oven-roasted Brussels sprouts and cauliflower.

Picked this up along with half a dozen other volumes of comics from my local library. It's been a while since I've read any Carol Danvers stories. I'm glad to see that Marvel is still kicking butt and taking names in her titles. Looking forward to reading future stories! #2017Book14

So Captain Marvel is my hero, in the sense that I love her and her comics with all my heart. I haven't been reading comics super long and she was the second character I latched on too that soon become my favorite. This year for Halloween I got her jacket that I will wear anytime and decided to be her. It was so much fun. When I become a fictional character she's who I want to be!
