How have economics, technology, and social movements changed our tastes? Uncover these and other fascinating aspects of American food traditions in The American Plate.Dr. Libby H. O'Connell takes readers on a mouth-watering journey through America's culinary evolution into the vibrant array of foods we savor today. Day 17 #emojinov #?My new cheap headphone purchase-lucky there's a drugstore right by the coffeeshop as I forgot my headphones & could not focus due to a woman next to me loudly talking on the phone for ages.?She read the entire index & a chapter of her textbook aloud & I know more about her than I want to. I'm not a fan of people that hold long calls inside public places-they should say "?" & go outside or home. Listening to some foodie NF.?

jfalkens Your veggie protein bar looks yummy 😍 6y
DebinHawaii @jfalkens Thanks! It's actually a little 'grazing box' of dried edamame, chickpeas & cashews. I like that it gives me 9g of protein & 4g if fiber. 🤗This one (quite peppery) & the barbecue ones are my faves. 6y
jfalkens @DebinHawaii sounds delicious 😍 6y
Reviewsbylola I completely agree with the phone thing. So irritating. 6y
DebinHawaii @Reviewsbylola Yes! Such bad coffeeshop neighbor behavior! 😬 6y
