How to Train Your Train by Jason Carter Eaton, Illustrated by John Rocco is a great book that is a spin on how to choose a great pet, the only difference is you are choosing your pet train. It‘s a fun TL book to RA to young children. It goes over ways to catch your train all the way to how to keep your train happy. DrSpalding Your resource could help you incorporate this book into a social studies unit on transportation. 7y

Need a gift for the 3-5 year old in your life? This fun tale of personified engines has a great voice & gorgeous illustrations. It's a long book for my newly 3 son, but he loves trains, so he loves this book! #kidsbooks #giftsforkids #trains

I think the idea of being able to have a pet train is absurd, however my son disagrees and has already picked out which type of train he wants as a pet. The illustrations are also whimsical and fun.

Yournewfriendsams A pet train would be legit tho 😂 #noshedding 8y
LibrarianJen @Yournewfriendsams 😂😂😂 but as the book points out, they might leave muddy track prints on the floors so you have to clean that mess up! 8y
