My past few weeks have called for romance novels and a couple of beers. This was a great Stout and Julie James always delivers an enjoyable romance.

Disappointed since I‘ve place so much faith in this 📚. I‘ve like Vaughn since he always make fun of his friends when they‘re 😍 so I‘m kind of looking forward to his fall. Sadly, not much action and impact since I don‘t really like Sidney‘s character. #juliejames #romancebooks #contemporaryromance

Friends-with-benefits turn sweethearts in bridesmaid/best man,sister of bride/brother of groom story. Novel drags at start: player hero strikes out with the heroine-with-a-plan,their engaged siblings dominate the scenes.Becomes amusing & interesting as heroine keeps dating even after they have sex cause FBI hotshot said he doesn‘t do relationships—till he realizes she‘s the only woman he‘d ever want. Not James‘s best but entertaining #romantsy

#bookanddessert! I have this book on my Kindle but I bought a paperback so my mom can read it. She's still going through the Jennifer Crusie copies I have, and she says she enjoys good banter between the characters. So I want her to try Julie James and this was the only title that was available at the bookstore. Also, mint chocolate chip is my fave ice cream flavor.😋😋🍦🍦

I liked that Vaughn finally got his own story, but I felt it didn't do him justice. My least favorite of the US Attorney/FBI series to date.

Enjoyed sassy Sydney and Vaughn's banter. That's always consistent about Julie James' characters. That and the way they meander into a relationship without really realising it. This book felt really short for some reason though. #romantsy

A pleasant surprise. First time I have read this author. This Book started slow.. but then it all heated up nicely! Vaughn and Sydney had great chemistry. They were funny, sweet and sarcastic. I found the narrator a bit jilty but I got used to her.
