This is the third book in the Cate Austin series. I found it very readable but I did guess the suspect and was a little disappointed with the ending. It seemed to have such a big build up and then felt rushed. However, I‘d still recommend this book and look forward to reading the next one.

Just started this. Loved the previous Cate Austin books so looking forward to getting into it!

Already I feel affected by this book and know it will stay with me a long time. Probation officer Cate deals with a case very similar to a real life story every British person knows about. It was a difficult uncomfortable read but one I couldn't put down. Mixed feelings all the way through. Well researched. Would recommend. Third in the series but like the others can be read as stand alone.

I really enjoyed this book. Nice easy writing style too. Had me hooked. Part of a series, but you can read it as a stand alone.
