With friends like these, enemies are overkill. R to L (Japanese Style). Takashi Natsume can see the spirits and demons that hide from the rest of humanity. He has always been set apart from other people because of his gift, drifting from relative to relative, never fitting in. Now he is a troubled high school student who has come to live in the small town where his grandmother grew up. And there he discovers that he has inherited more than just the Sight from the mysterious Reiko. Takashi Natsume can see the spirits and demons that hide from the rest of humanity. Pickpick

A low pick, because this took me an embarrassingly long time to get into for a manga. I found the panel layout confusing; the dialogue sometimes looked like it could go in two different directions. My favourite part was chapter 4, The Swallow Underwater, which was a lovely story. Also liked Natsume‘s personal yokai cheer squad 😆

The stories are not entirely about nature, but nature (and it's creatures and spirits) do play an important role in the stories 👍 I've concluded that this series, like #mushishi, are relaxing to read ☺️
