What an incredibly odd little book. It was interesting for sure to watch this girl go through all these psychological rituals but after a while I grew tired and grossed out by how many times this little girl was picking at her scabs to calm herself down. I get it and I get why but it seemed a bit too much. If you likef it, that's cool, but I don't think I would recommend this to anyone.

Some books about #dysfunctionalfamilies I found on my shelves. The bottom two I'd highly recommend. I haven't made it to the top two yet, but am guessing from descriptions they'd qualify. #photoadaynov16

This was a reread for book club tonight and it was even better the second time through. An amazing look at schizophrenia, OCD, and self-harm. The language used is some of the most beautiful and lyrical I've read.
