pickI was pleasantly surprised by this piece of Ancient Greek literature. It was overly dramatic, hilarious at points, and also very relevant to today. I thinknrhisnbook is a great introduction to Ancient Greek literature. Not only is it a good story, it is very easy to read and understand. 4 out of 5 stars.
French book haul from last month's donations. Hugo and Mitchell are a bit of a find since they are box, illustrated editions. At the time they were published late 70's for Les Miz and late 80's for Gone with the wind they were 50$ each. Now, in good condition, with the box you might get between 25 and 40$ each. Still these are lovely edition. I might keep the Longus, it a gorgeous Swiss edition. #bookhaul
