Twist upon twist upon twist, yet Spenser plugs on through it all till the end.

I love the Spenser character and I have read all of the books written by Parker. Ace Atkins does a great job recreating the dialogue and mood that are so key to the Parker books. In this novel, Spenser is asked to look into who might be trying to force a group of seniors to sell their condos. He learns that legalized gambling is coming to Boston and the condo is needed for the casino site. The plot is pretty good until it falls apart at the end.

Just started this and I am impressed with how well Atkins has captured the style of Robert B. Parker!

I thought I had lost Spenser when Robert B Parker died. This was quite entertaining and worth my time and yours.
