My #bookspin for June is done! I liked the story about a murder from the viewpoint of a journalist. At the same time I didn't get the actions of Annika who is in a domestic abuse situation. Sometimes I thought she was a bit bipolar in her emotions. It didn't always make sense. But still a better read than expected.

Langweilig, vorhersehbar, unspektakulär.. teilweise zu kompliziert, zu politisch.. Konnte die Zusammenhänge nicht alle verstehen. Die Auflösung des Mordes einfach nur schlecht.. Das einzige, was interessant war, war die Vorgeschichte der Protagonistin Annika Bengtzon im Detail zu lesen. (insgesamt ca. 20 von 410 Seiten)

When Karin Slaughter has a cover blurb you know it's going to be good. There was so much going on in this story, but it all made sense in the end. Luckily this is also the first in a series.
