I'm not sure how to rate this. I think the narration won me over. If I'd read it, rather than listened to it I don't think I would have enjoyed it as much. If nothing else this story highlights how fucked over Vietnam Vets were when they returned from war.

I'm not sure if I expected this to be my thing, but I'm 20% in and it is really good. Courtenay weaves the Australian vernacular together so well.
