Dr Dee. He plays an important role in the Alchemist series (the immortal Nicholas Flamel). Fun to see his book mentioned here. This is a great FBI thriller set with magic, demons and more.

If you enjoy dark fantasy/horror merging with the real world and have a thing for CSI or Criminal Minds (as I do) this book may well be for you. It's quick and grimy and entertaining as hell!

Definitely a good foundation for this new series (a spinoff of the Daniel Faust series) by Schaefer. Very enjoyable read. 4 of 5 stars.

This book was ALL the things! It's like Haven and True Blood with witches! It's the first in a series but there is only one more available! It isn't released until April but I think I might have access through Kindle Unlimited. This was so refreshing after reading a Discovery of Witches (ick!).
