Don't Call Me Bear!

I‘ve been setting my alarm so as to be ready for when some talented Aussie artists art works go live (and often sell out within 3 minutes) - it‘s a stressful process - but kind of exhilarating! I was recently super lucky and managed to snag two Shelby Sherritt Art 🐨 pots! One for me and one a late birthday present!

It‘s almost getting to the time of year when I wouldn‘t mind a Bubble O‘Bill icecream!

Don‘t call me bear is a cute book that also corrects the misconception that koalas are bears. This is a book that I really enjoyed. This is a fictional read aloud. I think my future students would not only enjoy it but learn a lot about koalas and marsupials.

Alexush The ESOL strategy I picked is 29 where I will provide other materials that will reference koalas. The UDL strategy I chose was 6.3 where I will facilitate and manage information and resources. karlasanabria1 For this specific book the UDL Guideline I‘d utilize would be to activate or supply background knowledge (3.1); I‘d talk to them about concepts like the animal kingdom, marsupials, Australian animals, etc. so they can understand and enjoy the book better. As for the ESOL Strategy I believe would work best with this book, I‘ve chosen teaching to two objectives, language and content (12). 5y
