Finally finished this one on my ten hour coach back from Edinburgh! I did like it, it wasn‘t as good as André Aciman‘s novels and I had it recommended to me as a similar kind of book so maybe it wasn‘t 100% as good as I was hoping, but I did really enjoy it! Fascinating setting and I particularly loved the discourse about converting to Judaism

Still sick and reading quite slowly cause I‘m so busy and my heads all stuffed up 😞 Alexandrian Summer is going well tho! I love very psychological books like this where you can just lose yourself in the entire life of another person. It feels like I‘m having a conversation with someone even when I‘m on my own.

Why do I get sick every single time I go on holiday??? In bed with a cold. I woke up late to a text from matt saying he went out early to get me a care package, medicines and tissues. He‘s perfect but I‘d rather be enjoying the city with him than making him bring me medicine ?

Reading Alexandrian Summer - too poor for more booker books so I‘m ploughing through some #tbr on my kindle. André Aciman wrote the intro and I thought it looked cool ?

Some of my #wanttoreadindecember list! These are just the Scribd books on my list...it's an ambitious reading month for me! Three of these are poetry though, perfect for dipping into when I have to work late!

Most excited about Alexandrian Summer, desperately trying to save it for my long flight but I might break and read it early....
