The author's shocking indictment of the Australian education system notwithstanding, I loved this book. It's not deep and meaningful, being an alphabetically arranged series of factoids, but it is colourful and vibrant, thanks to Libby VanderPloeg's gorgeous illustrations. While I've seen this in stores shelved with children's books, references to Bowie's drug taking and sex life mean it's definitely not suitable for young readers.
