Today Slovenia celebrates Culture Day (PreÅ¡eren Day). France PreÅ¡eren is our greatest poet. His unrequited love for Julia gave him great motivation to write. Despite the fact that he had great criticism and was banned from publishing his poems, he still wrote and today he is important for the development of the Slovene language. It is because of him that today we celebrate Culture Day, which we have named after him.⬇ï¸â¬‡ï¸
