'Indispensable...a book that everyone interested in modern poetry should have close to hand, a source of renewable delights and discoveries, a book that will long claim our attention...To my knowledge, no current anthology is as full and as deftly edited.' --Peter Brooks

My introduction to Philippe Petit was through the tagged book. Although a great anthology of poetry, Petit's didn't make much of an impression. I was unaware of his other accomplishments until the extraordinary documentary Man On Wire. I have yet to read McCann's novel, but it sounds promising.

Leftcoastzen I adore the novel for how it captures elements of 1970s New York ! It was my favorite, the year I read it 5y
vivastory @Leftcoastzen I have a weakness for novels set in 70s NY. Definitely will be bumping it up my TBR. 5y
