Bailedbailed

Got to page 71 and bailed.
The characters were bizarre and not in a good way. It was unrealistic, confusing, and quite poorly written.
The accidental killing of her ex husbands best friend with a frying pan (told you - bizarre) was just glossed over. WTF?!

I've had a bad run with books recently! 🙄

Pickpick

A gem of a book! Charlie wakes up one day to realise that aliens have replaced her husband and now he wants a divorce. I won't recap the plot because it's delicious to discover it on your own! This was a re-read and it's stood up well, as Charlie's family are as fascinating as she is. Very much recommended.
