Pickpick

"Writer is weary unto death of making up stories"

In the first 5 pages Markson tells the reader what he's going to do. It's a remarkably difficult goal, A novel with no characters, no plot, no story, no passage of time.

And then Markson (Writer) pulls it off. I would have read this in one sitting if I could, the pages keep turning, the book keeps building, and the ending is what it has to be (the entire book is set up by the ending).

"You can actually draw so beautifully. Why do you spend your time making all these queer things?

Picasso: That's why."
