I am posting one book per day from my extensive to-be-read collection. No description and providing no reason for wanting to read it, I just do. Some will be old, some will be new. Don‘t judge me - I have a lot of books. Join in if you want!

Trip to Persephone Books today. A tiny bookshop / publisher who publish neglected fiction and non fiction by twentieth century women. Each book they publish has the same pale grey cover but beautiful unique patterned end papers. Every book comes with a matching bookmark. Lovely place to discover something different. http://www.persephonebooks.co.uk/books/

Mehso-so

Well, this story of 16th century nuns, a religious 'secret' and a modern day adoptee with links to the past wasn't awful. But it was nearly awful. Many inaccuracies and misrepresentations. Cheesy romance, eye roll inducing coincidences & dubious plot lines that went nowhere. The nun's stories were the most interesting part, but were still a bit cliché & unbelievable in a way that was just annoying. So - so is generous, Pan too harsh.

Just starting this today. It's a Kindle "lucky dip". That is it's been so long since I bought it I can't really remember what it's about. So I'm going in blind so to speak.
