This is what I am reading today. Picked this up at the Library. This coffee table book tells of the Japanese incarceration during World War 2, mostly through pictures that have been thoroughly researched. The photography was done by Dorothea Lange, Ansel Adams, Clem Albers and others. Just starting this but very interesting so far.

kyraleseberg I've been reading about this in a book about Dorothea Lange. She took some really powerful photos of the internment camps. She was an outspoken protestor of the camps and I admire her ability to step in to the field and document it so powerfully. I'm embarrassed to say I had no idea about this piece of U.S. History until I was about 24 years old; they never mentioned it at all in history classes in high school or college. (edited) 8y
