@ljuliel asked us all to post books that made us emotional. This is the first book I can ever remember crying over. I was in 7th maybe 8th grade and in the middle of class. I had to read the book twice because the pages were stuck together. But when I found out it had a My Sisters Keeper or Fault in Our Stars ending, I started bawling. I was so made fun of for it. And I don't care. It was so good. and the story has been repeated by others.

ljuliel Thanks for sharing that with us Ryan. 💕 4y

The first book that made me cry and be harassed for it in public. Grade 5 in Alaska where many of my fellow@Navy brats didn't read and couldn't understand crying over a book.

Part my sisters keeeper, part fault in my stars, way older than both.

Okay this is an odd second chances book. I read this in 6th grade and the ending didn't make sense. So I reread it. a few pages were stuck together. First book to make me cry in public (during social std) It is pretty much the older sisters story from Piccoult's sisters Keeper. This is the original cover that I read. It was reprinted in 1994 and in a new language 2002. 20 + years later I still remember this title. #booklove17 #secondchances
