pickWill these books win literature awards? Probably not. Are they entertaining? Absolutely! This is not my favorite of the series so far, but I love that they are narrated by the dog, Chet. Does Chet miss things that the reader needs to solve the crime? Of course he does. He‘s a dog and falls asleep while Bernie is thinking out loud, but that‘s part of the charm. I ❤️ Chet and he was what I needed to get through a couple of bad days.
The time change has not been kind to me. Between being completely exhausted, having a bit of the sads, and another round of frequent migraines, I would like to crawl into a blanket fort and not come out. So, in an effort to cheer myself up, I started the tagged audiobook on my drive into work. Who couldn‘t use a little Chet the Jet in their life? 💖
